Steve ‘Smitty’ Smith is our Dock Master, and he’s a familiar face on the Eastern Shore. He grew up in the boating industry, a local boy who learned the trade at Marine Supply in Cape Charles. After graduating from Salisbury State University, he worked in the aquaculture industry for 20 years. Now he’s a boat captain with a 100-ton Master License and an outstanding knowledge of the local waterways. He knows where the fish are running, where to cruise for a sunset swim, where to get the most delicious oysters in town—all you have to do is ask.
